My kids wanted to try martial arts, so I reluctantly agreed. I contacted a friend that has trained with Butch for many years and he suggested I join a class. Very glad I did. I'm a white belt (no stripes), but that doesn't matter to me. I love learning, drilling and rolling. Every person I've met and rolled with in the gi and no gi classes has been patient, welcoming and happy to share information. My kids still go with me sometimes and the kids instructors are also amazing. They push the kids to better themselves, building confidence and discipline. My only regret is that I didn't start this journey 30 years ago.
Butch Hiles Is one of the best black belts in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu in Charleston West Virginia The classes are fun The instructors are great it’s just an overall good place to be goodatmosphere great people if you want to learn Brazilian jujitsu this the place I have been go to this gym for almost a year and I have nothing but good thing to say
I dropped in during a road trip. The team was very welcoming. I took Hunter's class and John's class.Solid instruction going over takedowns, side control escapes, and great rolling.The showers were clean and helped a lot for my road trip.Thank you Butch Hiles BJJ team!Highly recommend.
