The best place to board your pets! The staff is very kind, caring and attentive to the animals. My dog Astro spent a week with them. He came back happy, clean and smelling great! We will always use this place to board our pets from now on. They are absolutely amazing. The facility is wonderful and very clean. Each animal staying there is safe and well cared for.
I don't live in West Virginia, but I have family there. One of my loved ones passed away recently and figuring out how to send my love to them all the way from Texas is never easy, but Jan was SO sweet and understanding!! She was kind, helpful & I am SO grateful for her! I will DEFINITELY be visiting The Shopkeeper next time I am in town...THANK YOU JAN!
Amazing staff. After adopting our dog Arthur from the taswell county animal shelter, he was in dire need of a bath & nail trim. We bathed him when we got home with him, His bath word was black, They got him cleaner and smelling good.
Nicest lady in the entire town helped me out. Nice assortment of gear and guitars. It really is a hidden gem.

He always calls me the day before his arrival and he always asks me the best time to come by. Plus he always lets me know I can call him if I have any further problems to let him know
Over the last 20 years of getting massages from dozens of therapists across half a dozen states (and luxury cruises), Dana is by far the best therapist I have ever seen. Her techniques and skill level are unmatched. I have had 3 back surgeries and have diabetes with neuropathy. She was the first person to hit all the problem spots in a way that did not cause discomfort, yet I walked out feeling not only relaxed but feeling limber. Dana by far sets the gold standard in her line of work. I will never see anyone else.
College Avenue Baptist Church hired Frye Roofing for a small roof replacement project. Very quick responce. From the time we asked for a quote until project was complete was less than 3 weeks. Very professional employees all around. We could not be more satisfied with the work and the price. They cleaned up the grounds and hauled off the waste. Other than an awesome looking new roof, you couldn't tell they were ever there. Would recommend Frye Roofing for all of your roofing needs.

Best mani period ever! Everyone was super nice, especially the handsome Asian man. Haha. The beautiful woman that started my nails was the sweetest person. They all stayed over an hour after closing. You wouldn't have known it. No rushing here. Super clean, modern, great music at the right volume. The woman that did my pedi couldn't have done a better job. I would have give 7 stars if I could!
I am very pleased with the service I was provided from this company. The two gentlemen that set me up for my appointment (Brandon and Everett) were WONDERFUL. They answered my many questions because I know nothing about furnaces with such patience. Kenny was who arrived at my rental unit and my tenant raved about his kindness and said I couldn't have sent her a kinder and more perfect person for the job. NOW UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT BUT SAME GREAT PLACE TO TAN!! Been tanning here for 20years on and off. Back when there was only one bed in the back corner of the little store that was there years ago. But for the past 11 years, since returning home to Mercer Co I have used this salon only. Always clean, choice of many style beds and lotions , and opening usually available regardless of the time of day or year.
The owner of this salon, Linda Barrett, is nice and chatty. She doesn't overly charge. My husband enjoys going to her as well.

Mark was very professional and took the time to explain things to my wife when she had several questions. He was also very patient with us as we took our time deciding what new shingle to get. The Roofing team was amazingly fast and cleaned up afterwards. They only took two days for a very large roof to be replaced. Even our neighbors were amazed at how quickly and well they worked. I've seen some not so nice comments on here. But people you need to understand this is a small town business who's been here for close to 50 years. And they do a lot that you don't realize ,behind the scenes to help these young children in this area. If you're in a situation where you need there help. There always willing to listen. So take those bad comments with a grain of salt. Probably didn't wanna pay anyways. Thank you.
Thanks again for seeing Attila. Another vet in the area wouldn’t even answer their phone or respond via text. After a week of trying I gave up and y’all answered immediately. I’m currently deployed and even so I live in Kansas. I really appreciate that this animal hospital was capable of allowing Attila’s breeder to bring him in so he could get all the boxes checked prior to coming home to me.
Everyone is very nice and are more than happy to answer your questions. It's also very clean with separate areas for dogs and cats. We are very happy with them.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST IN THE AREA. Goins auto mechanics are not your stereotypical mechanics. My car broke down and needed a tow and a camshaft replacement. They picked it up from a small work garage with no issues and had it fixed the next day. The mechanic explained the issue specifically so I understood WHY it broke down, and let me know of another issue they saw. Not to mention that their prices are very competitive. They serve the community well! Give them your business!
