Sundara was truly a magical experience! It was just a night get-away, but such a wonderful 24 hours of relaxation. There aren't pictures of the common area pools, etc. because phones are (which I love!). The pictures posted are from the spacious room WITH a true hot tub. With robes, slippers, and a never ending supply of plush towels, one couldn't be happier. The shower had multiple shower heads with a keypad to set which ones on/off, etc. The room could definitely accommodate 6-8 people due to the size. What a good girls' weekend idea! Room service food was They also offered yoga, coloring, quiet rooms, and many more areas to relax and decompress. The ONLY thing lacking was the massage. Unfortunately, it was so-so, which was disappointing since it was . It didn't start on time and was out before the "50" minute allotted time. I'd say the massage maybe lasted 35. The masseuse also started it off by saying she was having a stressful day All that said, I think the massage was a one off, and I'll definitely try a service again. 4/5
We had a girls' night at Sundara just before Christmas. It was unusually busy and there were quite a few minor and a major inconvenience that shouldn't happen in a place of this cost. However, BUZZY the bell person saved the day! He was on top of everything with a smile. Buzzy is 100% the reason that we will be back to Sundara for more of our girls' nights. He is so helpful, funny, friendly, genuine, and made our stay!
If you're considering a splurge for a night with your girlfriends, you've discovered the right place. We stayed for one night in a standard queen room, and loved spending two days in our robes going between the various pools/hot tubs/rituals/relaxation rooms/classes Sundara offers. There really is something for everyone. We especially liked the sound bath class. Sundara offers thoughtful amenities as well (blow dryers, towels, swimsuit dryers, etc...) - they've really thought of everything. Tip - if you stay over night you are allowed to check in to the spa at 8am on the day of your reservation, and you can stay until 9pm on the day you check out of your room. That's two full days of spa access! The $45 per day spa access fee is included in your room rate, so it is not changed on top of what you are paying for the room. AND you do not need to purchase a spa service (i.e., massage, facial, etc...) if you don't want to. Your room provides you access to all they have to offer. The only thing we wished was different was the amount of chlorine used. I know this is state law and not something Sundara has control over, but we left smelling like chlorine despite showers. It would be nice if some pools were salt water.
