“I got a Brazilian by Idalys and let me just tell you, A+++++ SHE WAS AMAZING. She is a new employee and I was a model she practiced on, but I highly recommend asking for her if you go to velvet! It was my first time ever getting waxed but she made me feel super comfortable — no awkwardness at all even though my goods were just all laid out in front of her. She was very accommodating to my needs, for ex I am a wimp and definitely yelled a little bit but she was so sweet about it, let me take breaks when I needed, and even started switching sides every other strip because it felt better for me rather than the doing all of one side before moving on to the next! She was so chill and like I said I’ve never had this done before so I was nervous about how intimate we were gonna get, but she was so professional about it! It was so easy to hold a convo with her which is also a huge reason i would recommend her! Very easy going and overall was the main reason my experience went so well! “Phenix Salon is a nice building. Inside entrance is nice & welcoming. Love the water feature on the wall when you first walk in. The place offers people to open their own salons within the building which is great. So they have many different businesses inside that all are salons, barbers, massage, eyebrow & maybe facials 2. I have been getting my hair done @ My Studio inside Phenix for several years & have been following Dale for 30+ years. Unfortunately he is leaving the Phenix building this month & moving My Studio to Monona Dr. but I highly recommend checking out some of the other businesses inside Phenix Salon Suites. I have not personally tryed any of them but they seem to be good businesses. Otherwise look up My Studio on Monona Dr. for a great hair salon.“
