“When our family decided to remodel the first floor of our house, we were both excited and intimidated. We had just bought our “forever” home and we wanted to make it perfect. I considered trying to do it myself or using design services offered by retail stores. Then I luckily found Stonehouse. I was worried as a young family we were not quite ready for an interior design service, but Anna talked me through the process over the phone before our first meeting. When we met for the first time, we discussed the scope of the project, the timeline and the budget. They were very transparent about what each step would entail. At the end of our first meeting I felt very comfortable signing a contract with them.Then came the fun part! Anna, Erin (our project manager) and other members of the team worked hard to understand our style. I answered some questionnaires and made pinterest boards. At the design presentation they laid out their entire plan. I was absolutely blown away with their attention to detail. They chose furniture, paint colors, art, rugs, and even cute containers to store toys! They redesigned the layout of our home to make it more functional. They also sourced custom builtins for our living room, mudroom and library. I did not entirely understand what our design style was when we started the project, but they nailed it. It was very personal and my husband and I were so grateful for the time they spent making all of these choices.. I didn't change one thing that they picked out.The project was completed on schedule. Erin and the team kept us updated through each step of the process. I did nothing to coordinate the completion of the project. I simply ok’d calendar invites and the rest was taken care of.The day of the “final reveal” was absolute magic! The house was styled to perfection with plants and picture frames. I loved it even more than I thought I would. My favorite room is my library in the front of the house which has a modern leather couch with a cool built in black bookshelf! Every day in this house I am thankful for the time and effort Stonehouse put into this project. It has truly been a dream come true. I am looking forward to hosting my entire family for Christmas dinner this year in my new dining room!I strongly recommend Stonehouse Collective for your design project. “We hired Three Sixty to do a basement remodel in 2022 and it ended up exceeding our expectations! We had an initial idea of what we wanted for the layout which included a living area, bar, workout room and full bathroom. The design team took the time to listen to all our needs and came up with a terrific plan that worked for us. The recommendations that were provided for our overall vision turned out to be great for aesthetic feel and functionality. We love spending time down there for movie nights, watching sporting events and kids get togethers!The staff was very responsive and the quality of work was top of the line. It's an unusual place: wonderful furniture and objets d'art, some of it way beyond my price range but much of it affordable. “For decades we had contemplated the need to gut and reimagine our kitchen, a kitchen with four doors and two windows. We knew two things: it would be a major investment and we knew our configuration made it difficult to even imagine a better solution. We worried that a magician couldn't make this space better.We hired NSKB because it has its own subcontractors. Their professionals stepped us through the design process as we explored idea after idea. When we locked in on our design, demo started. They said our project would be completed in two months and the only reason they finished five days past the due date was because we, the clients, had chosen to upgrade some aspects of the project. NSKB communicates with clients through a construction app so there is always one source of truth. Their subs are pros who take pride in their craftmanship. The NSKB construction team are terrific people who work to get it right. Their commitment is impressive. For example, a lot of work went into making our old kitchen plum. The owner still wasn't satisfied after extensive work had been done and had his team redo the plum work, which they did without complaint. We had great project managers who saw to every detail.In the end our change orders came to less than 10% of the project and our new kitchen is so terrific that it's improved our daily relationship with our charming, older home. No regrets.Finally, we found NSKB to be accountable, a rare and highly treasured professional quality in our book.We're pleased to recommend them.“

“My husband and I hired Cream City Construction to completely renovate our 1920s kitchen and back entryway. It would be an understatement to say that we are completely thrilled with our new kitchen and entryway. When Jim came over to first take a look at our space, he told us not to shove things in drawers or closets. He wanted us to let him see how we honestly used our unrenovated kitchen every day. At the time, I was thoroughly embarrassed by all of our clutter, but it immediately went away when Jim showed us the drawings for our new space at the second design meeting. He took the struggles we told him we were having (plus the ones he saw we were having) and gave us drawings that reflected kitchen dreams that we didn't even know we had. A built-in pantry, additional under-island storage, an extra large sink so dishes aren't piled up - Jim completely knocked the design out of the park, and then coordinated with his team to bring his drawings to life. I work with construction clients as part of my legal practice and am no stranger to home renovations. Despite the extensive nature of the renovations needed (including removal of a concrete subfloor!), it was the most seamless project I have ever experienced. Jim and his team were consummate professionals throughout the process, promptly answered questions, and provided us with frequent updates. They even delivered ahead of schedule! We will definitely be using Jim and his team for all of our future renovations - I couldn't recommend anyone more highly.“
