Excellent Vet! Our Bernease Mountain Dog was acting sick and we thought he may have been bitten by a tic. Dr Arnold was able to get him in right away for examination. It turned out that he had swallowed something large and there was actually something lodged in his intestines. Dr. Arnold immediately let us know, and the following day went into surgery for removal. Everything went as planned and we have our Dog back healthy as can be. Thanks to all the wonderful staff!!

Started taking my dog, Kona, here after having too many bad experiences at VCA and I was tired of constantly being pushed to pay for the VCA Care Plan. Walking into MAH was like a breath of fresh air after that. They answered my questions without making me feel like I was overreacting and they were always very good about my dogs' anxiety and letting me help restrain her (when possible) during their exam. They were also so good about my dogs' medications and I could call in for a refill and most days it was ready same-day for me to pick up.

I moved away in July 2024 and had to find a new vet but I still recommend Marathon Animal Hospital to all my Wausau-area friends...read full review

I took my dog in for a cyst removal and some teeth extractions. They were so nice. They called me several times during the day to keep me updated. I was really nervous about the anesthesia. He is healing very well. I would definitely trust them.
