I went to the emergency room to get help with my severe back pain that radiates down both my legs that hurts so bad I can hardly walk. After waiting for more than an hour, I was called back. The nurse was rude and in a hurry dismissing me as I was a drug addict looking for pain medication. Then the Nurse Practitioner comes walking in with the same attitude stating if you can't walk maybe you should go to a nursing home. Not only did they not do any testing because its the weekend and we can't do MRI'S without the radiologist being here no CT Scans no blood work no urine specimen nothing but shitty attitudes. Needless to say I was sent home and told there is nothing I can do for you. This ER needs major staff improvement from the doctors to the nurses to the transporters. I will not trust my health with them again. Go home and suffer is what I was actually told.
Went in for my man's tooth pain, treated like he was pain pill seeking. Absolutely ridiculous, my man got work done on his teeth about a week prior, and he'd been dealing with pain from the work for a week. He called his dentist over and over again looking for help with the pain, but they refused him. We went into Marshfield, they gave him a couple Vic's which helped tremendously (only 2), but by the next day he was back to severe pain. We went into aspirus since we were on that side of town, and worse mistake. We waited three hours for the doctor to literally say it wasn't his problem my man's teeth hurt since the hospital didn't do the work. The doctor said there were all sorts of things he could do, but since the dentist wouldn't treat them he wouldn't either. I was taking care of my man all week, he could hardly eat, sleep, or drink anything. He was taking so much Tylenol and advil that I was nervous about his intake. The only time he felt better was on the Vic's given the night before. He wanted pain pills to get him through till the next dentist appt which he had to schedule with a different dentist. I understand pain pill seeking is a problem, however, a man being unable to eat, sleep, drink, and getting migraine headaches from pain shouldn't be treated this way. Stop going here, stop giving your money to them, I wish my mans could sue for malpractice. I was up all night with him last night. Teeth pain is so severe (I've had it before and I'm sure anyone reading this understands as well). Treat patients for heavens sake, stop treating them like they are addicts. Btw the doctor could look in and see the rotted tooth , along with the work done by the dentist...
I went in on Thanksgiving with a horrible cough like hurting my chest everytime I breathed. It wasn't a horrible wait to get back but once a doctor did talk to me they said o you have covid and I said I really dont think its covid but go ahead and test me so they did and also a chest X-ray. Once my chest X-ray came back good they said my covid test would take a bit so they where sending me home to take Tylenol for the chest pain and once my test results come back positive to stay home for 5 days. I went home with no answer and still in horrible pain and scared cause I really couldn't breathe. Test results was negative for covid and rsv and flu. I had a cough for 3 week till I could get in with my primary to be told I have a sinus infection and need medication to help me with my cough. I'm super upset that they heard I had a cough and instead of helping me said covid. Super disappointed
