Rehabilitation Hospital of Wisconsin

I spent a week at RHOW after surgery to repair my broken hip. When I compared what I was able to do when I first arrived (not much) to what a was able to do a week later, I was blown away! The OTs, the PTs, the Drs, Nurses, CNAs...they were all just wonderful! I felt heard when I needed something and I was treated with respect and dignity. I also have to shout out the kitchen staff. The meals here are really good! Far better than the food at the hospital where I had my surgery. (The chicken parm was fantastic!)To anyone who is in need of inpatient rehab, RHOW is where you want to go!

If you are searching for a hospital to rehab at this will definitely be your destination. The hospital has a warm vibe as soon as you arrive and you can feel it. The staff is efficient and very helpful. I cannot say enough about the occupational therapists and the physical therapists, they helped me prepare myself after my leg was amputated, and after my first stay helped me begin walking with my prosthetic. I could not have done it without them. Everyone that I worked with was very positive and that in turn transferred to me. Can’t say enough about RHOW , by the way the food is great. The level of care was outstanding. I needed medical care along with rehab services and felt the staff of RNs had a high degree of experience and concern for my medical needs. The OTs and PTs were knowledgeable and motivating. The staff of physicians addressed all my medical needs. I met my goals within the original time frame and am now progressing at home. What a wonderful asset to Southeastern Wisconsin.
