I adopted my dog as a puppy during the pandemic, and the previous vet we took him to didn't allow me inside for his visits (which I understand as a healthcare worker) but they repeated the same treatments to no effect for his intestinal worms.

Dr. V gave my puppy an antibiotic instead of an antiworming medication, and started him on a probiotic, and it made all the difference.
