Journey Martial Arts has been an incredible addition to our children’s lives! They have an opportunity to focus on values and virtues and build into social and emotional skills all while learning karate. Ms. Virginia cares about each child and finds ways to connect and encourage them while commanding respect. Karate is both fun and rewarding, for kids of all ages and stages. The community events are above and beyond and so much fun! We can’t say enough how much our family appreciates and enjoys our time with Journey Martial Arts! Truly a gem in our community!

This was the EASIEST BIRTHDAY PARTY I have ever thrown. Journey Martial Arts provides invitations, entertainment and pizza. All there was for me to do was review my 9 year old's guest list, get invitations out and provide cupcakes.The kids had a BLAST. They provide active, organized activities, even though it looks like chaos to the adults. The activities even support agility, hand-eye coordination and teamwork. And when the kids are all hot and sweaty, there was bottled water for each of them. This was a welcome surprise.They kids were worn out but but very happy. I did martial arts at a different place working on my high brown belt before COVID; however, I didn't return to that place afterwards as I wanted something more practical before I head off into the USCG. On top of great fitness kickboxing classes to get you physically fit, Mrs. Virginia is a fantastic teacher giving useful demonstrations and additional help if needed. Additional bonus, everyone participating in class are also really nice and helpful.
