“Pete was great. I called him on a Saturday about a leaky outside spiket. It was leaking into my basement and we have horses also. I had no choice but to shut off water. Then had to go to neighbors to borrow water trough. Pete called me back about 90 minutes later and was all over thst repair. Put in new spiket and a shut off valve on the line so next time I can just kill the water only to the spiket and not the whole house. Pete was done quickly only cut open a minimal whole in the sheet rock and the hole was perfectly square instead of triangular or some weird shape in the wall. Nice work Pete,your the dude.“

“The filter on my smart toilet needed to be cleaned for general toilet maintenance. When I tried to access the filter myself, I discovered that I didn’t have the proper sized screwdriver that would allow me to remove the filter on my own. I had to call a plumber for help. “Early on a Saturday morning, we discovered that our sewer had backed-up with raw sewage coming up the drain into our laundry room in the basement. Called our regular plumber and he recommended Tangney & Sons Plumbing & Sewers as his "go-to" resource for this type of work. I called and Joyce took my call, saying to sit tight and she'd get someone out to our home ASAP. She then called me back about 15 minutes later and said her technician would be calling me shortly. Shannon called and told me he'd be at our home between noon and 2:00pm and he showed-up right at noon ... ON A SATURDAY! “On a Sunday night (9:15) my downstairs toilet overflowed. After snaking it for 30 minutes with no positive results I turned off the water and started calling emergency plumbing companies. On my 4th attempt I got a live person at Windy City. They were here by 11pm to assess the situation. My septic was backed up. The main water was shut off. Bobby called the office and made arrangements for fixing the problem on Monday. A septic company was out the next day to pump the septic. The owner (Max) and crew were out to determine a resolution. They found the problems and expedited the repairs. The entire team was very professional, informative and respectful. I've never heard of this company, living 90 minutes away, but the entire experience with them was unbelievably positive. From the service crew to my interaction with the office staff was superb. “Kevin and Dulan were the ones who came and did the install for our new water heater (replaced one that was about 13-15 years old). They did a great job of not only installing the water heater, but assisting with hooking it up to the whole house humidifier.The other part that was a net positive is that they came specifically for the job that was called for. Some places end up having someone come over and suddenly spring a full house inspection when you just called them for a sink install and then want to sell a bunch of things that aren't needed.“
