I am forever grateful to have found Dr. Joan. Car accident. Whiplash. Years later developed severe neck pain and headaches. I've done weekly massages, dry needling and physical therapy. Very little improvement. Pain became so debilitating that affected sleep. In searching for other therapies, saw many medical suggestions to try acupuncture. Dr. Joan is a licensed physical therapist, as well as trained acupuncturist. Previously, my doctor suggested botox for my headaches, which was a non-starter for me. I have been seeing Joan for the past 4 years. I began seeing her with a knee injury and gait issue and she has made a remarkable difference with my overall posture and body. Her technique of using MFR with acupuncture has greatly corrected the curve in my spine, my pelvis and my knees. I feel much healthier, balanced and improved. Her kind nature along with her knowledge about the muscular structure of the body makes her an excellent practitioner. I highly recommend her!
