Dr. Bess is a miracle worker for our son. We started seeing Dr. Bess about 6 months ago because our son was complaining of chronic back pain. He has spastic hemiplegia and a slight curvature of his spine had been noticed in the last year. Fast forward six months: the pain is gone; his spasticity improved; and most incredibly, the curvature GONE! At our son’s latest appointment with his rehabilitation specialist, she was amazed at the change. A year ago we were on the path to a back brace, now we are all clear. The power of chiropractic treatment cannot be denied in this case! Also,I need to mention how caring, genuine and thoughtful Dr. Bess is, not to mention great...read full review
I was having a should/neck issue that was pretty painful. Dr. Bess contacted me the same day and offered for me to see Dr. Alexandra as a new patient that same afternoon. She was most kind and helpful and had a wonderful touch adjusting me. After we were done with my exam and adjustment, I realized I was her last patient of the day. Though I am not sure what her normal scheduled time to leave was, she stayed to help me and never was in a rush to hurry me out the door. I greatly appreciate Dr. Alexandra and her ability to help relieve my pain. I can't wait to see her again!
To state it plainly: Rob is a gem. I wish I could tell the world about him. Many understand that a chiropractors job is to align bones. Most will say a massage therapist's job is to make you relaxed and destressed. Rob can do that, but he can do SO MUCH MORE! Rob is like the chiropractor of muscles & tendons. He's incredibly knowledgeable with every extremity, neck, and back. If you have lost range of motion in any joint or deal with stiff/locked joints you have to check him out! I drive an hour just to see him and it's worth every penny.I have gone to him for my wrist, shoulder, neck, back, and pelvis. I at one point could not lift my arm above my head, and before I left I was able to lay my arm flat above my head. Most recently, my neck was locked up, and it was going on week 3 of this. My chiropractor told me that my neck moves great and everything is lined up, but I could not turn my neck to the left nor touch my ear to my shoulder without considerable discomfort. Rob used deep tissue massage (warning: that alone is uncomfortable, but I have known for years sometimes you need to feel worse before you feel better). It took a few days for the inflammation to calm down after the massage, which I totally expected and slowly by slowly I regained more range of motion. I can proudly say 5 days later I could FINALLY turn my head with NO pain! Sometimes the fixes are instant and other times I get watch the magic as the days go by as the body can finally heal after he gets the muscles back in line where they should be.
