We woke up to no working furnace last Tuesday. We called one company. The service call was $154.00. Ok, understand. They told us that it was a blower motor and it would cost about $1500.00 to get us up and running. They said we were better off getting a new furnace costing about $6,000.00. We decided to check around and decided to call seasonal survival. WOW. I called and they were able to come out later the same day. It was the circuit board. He happened to have one on his truck. $375.00 and 20 minutes we are up and running! We even tried to give him a tip and he said nope, we don't do that. If you need any heating or plumbing issues do not hesitate to give them a call!
After searching around on Reddit for a trustworthy HVAC service company in the Madison area to fix my humidifier system and do a check up on my HVAC system. I happened across Survival HVAC. Mack Weaver responded within half a day and we had an appointment. During the service appointment he was more than happy to walk me through what he was checking and why he was checking it. I was not upsold on anything and he got the humidifier working within minutes.
Cannot recommend enough! I learned a lot about what to look for in my own system and was given excellent service at an affordable price.
Mack came and did a tune up of my furnace and installed a new AC unit a few days later. He’s very professional, knowledgeable and competitively priced. He also installed a new thermostat and taught me how to use it. I highly recommend him to anyone looking to have any hvac work done!
