I am disabled and house bound, which has made it very difficult to make arrangements for my dogs to get to the vet, as needed. The most memorable, and appreciated service visit, was the most painful. My little rescue terrier/mix had come to the end of his life and was suffering. This service made a timely appointment and was extremely considerate, gentle and understanding - both to me and to Hampton, easing us through the most difficult passage with respect and care. I would highly recommend this veterinary service when you are in need of in-home vet assistance, as are the many disabled in the area who have been encouraged to bring the responsibility and devotion of pets into their lives and yet have difficulty in attending vet appts .

Dr. Deb Johnson is a great vet and I feel she is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond what any of my previous vets would have done for my pets. Deb always gets right back to me when I call and leave a message. I feel she is up to date with new procedures and medications and gives a good explanation to any of my concerns and questions. Because we were not able to reach the vet who had been treating our dear dog (no voice mail!) we remembered Dr. Deb. An angel must having been looking after our dog. He was at the end of an illness but I knew that he wanted me to end his suffering. The compassion, sensitivity, concern she showed to us but especially to Max made it easier to let him go. To see him free of pain and sickness gave us comfort in the midst of great sorrow. This is the doctor I want to treat my dogs in the future. A gifted healer but as important, an able and powerful advocate for animals. Door County is blessed to have her.
