“While a carpet installer was pulling up the old carpet, we discover some rotten flooring, which eventually led us to a hidden leak in a small corner of our roof. Kris came out to inspect, pointed it out right away, but also showed us that the entire side portion under that corner was rotten and soft to the touch. Kris sent me an overly reasonable estimate, I accepted and he gave me a rough timeline.It just so happens that I had to leave the country for an emergency leaving my brother to manage the project and my home.Our dad was a carpenter. We were always involved in remodel projects, building, framing, you name it. We've reroofed several of our own homes. If we were younger, we'd have done it ourselves. The project was completed when I returned home.
