“ABC had initially come to my home over the summer to do a cleaning for my AC unit. They said that they would inspect my furnace for free while they were in there. The tech advised that he found a bad run cap on the AC and a cracked heat exchanger on the furnace, and recommended replacement. The tech showed me a picture of what he said was my heat exchanger, and where the "crack" was. I then told the tech that I had a home warranty and that I would file claims. I filed my claim with Choice Home Warranty and ended up being assigned to Rosenthal/Kwik Serv for the run cap. Ty was my technician and he did a fabulous job with the repair! Later I filed the claim for my heat exchanger and was assigned again to Rosenthal/Kwik Serv. The tech dispatched this time was Alex, and he was amazing! He was so thorough in his diagnosis and showed me the ACTUAL pictures of my heat exchanger. Turns out the picture ABC showed me wasn't even my heat exchanger! There was red silicone sealant on the ABC picture, and NONE on the real pictures!! ABC had shown me bogus pictures just to try and get a replacement out of me. Turns out there were NO CRACKS in my heat exchanger!! Thank you so much to Alex and Rosenthal/Kwik Serv for being honest and setting my mind at ease!! I will use them 100% for my future service calls!!“

Recently encountered an electrical issue due to a power surge….various outlets replaced, whole home surge protector installed at the breaker and Manny provided excellent guidance in communicating to ComEd to ensure they came out and properly checked their lines and the panel (once Manny determined the issue was not occurring from inside). “I recently had 2 interviews which seemed like they went really well, I was told after the 2nd interview that I'd hear back in a couple days, after no response I waited 5 business days and made a follow-up call. There was no answer so I left a detailed voicemail. I got no response so I called again in a few days and I got ahold of Troy Green, he proceeds to tell me to call back in 20 mins so I did and no answer. I'm thinking he just got busy so I called around the end of the that day and he flushed me to voicemail and sent me an auto-mated message that said I'm in a meeting, i will text you later and yet again no response. So most people might have given up at this point, but I was always taught when you want something go for it. So I swallowed my pride and decided to go into the office to at least get some closure. I spoke to Crystal Butler the Human Resources Manager and told her about the situation and she said didn't know much about it and that she would get back to me if not by the end of that day then the next for sure. I never received a phone call or email nothing. I was really excited about the opportunity to work with such a good reputable company but that was replaced with a bad taste in my mouth about how unprofessional and just morally wrong this company was to me. All either one had to say was that we went with a different candidate or I wasn't the right fit for the job etc. I understand sometimes that's the case but to blow me off the way they did wasn't right. Now if I'm ever asked about this company unfortunately I'm not going to have the best things to say about them. They pride themselves on being a family owned company that's a good place to work but can't even respond to a applicant that had 2 interviews and made several follow-ups and not just not respond but I was lied to by 2 of their upper management. And i really liked Troy and Crystal after our meetings I guess that was I'm so surprised.“

“Had to replace our HVAC system that was 11 years old. We received three bids, for heating, cooling and humidifier. Maki & Associates was second lowest bid, but really impressed me is after Rich gave us a price he had the (Dan) installer come out and verify that this insulation.
