“I've had tattoos done by Kayla and Joey at Chicory Root. They both did excellent work. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I love my tattoos and will be returning many times in the future.

What I really want to address in this review is the accessibility of the shop. There are many businesses in town that are inaccessible or require a great deal of effort to access by people who use mobility aids or wheelchairs. While the front door has two steps to enter, there is an accessible entrance to the building. A phone number is posted in the front window for assistance.

The tattoo stations are also accessible with great chairs that can be moved or positioned as needed depending on body needs or moved out of the way for wheelchairs. I had no issues navigating around inside the studio.

I also want to compliment the bathroom. Bathrooms are an often overlooked area in businesses as far as accessibility. Chicory Root has one of the best bathroom setups I've encountered. There is plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair. There are both vertical and horizontal grab-bars by the toilet. The sink is easy to reach and use. The door is also positioned so it is easy to open and get around while using a wheelchair.“
