“The best team around! My mom and I have been coming here for years, and it’s always been a great experience. Dr. Pedersen is a wonderful doctor, he makes everything easy to understand. Every member of the staff is so helpful from choosing new frames to dealing with insurance and costs. Tracy has never failed to help me find the perfect frames! I highly recommend getting the images of your eyes done, it was very informative to have the doctor explain the parts of the eye and how they work, not to mention it was just plain cool. Basically, you can’t go wrong bringing yourself and your family here.“

“Dr. Walters is the BEST eye doctor I have seen in the 40 plus years I have been wearing glasses/contacts. I started going to Dr. Walters two years ago when I was seeing large floaters in one of my eyes. When I called the eye clinic I had been going to for 20 years, they said they could set up an appointment three weeks out to be seen. Thinking it could be a retinal wrinkle or start of a detached retina, I called Dr. Walters office and they got me in the next day. Dr. Walters dilated my eye and it turned out to be fine.

“North Shore Eye Health and Wellness is amazing! 3 of my 4 kids see Dr. E who is so good and patient with them. Everyone on the staff we have interacted with are so patient and nice. And the 2 ladies we had that helped my boys pick out glasses and take some measurements were incredibly good with my boys. We love this place so much!“

“I took my little girls here (both less than 4 years). Dr Alvarez was amazing with them. She was so nice and was so skilled with little kids. Coming in, I thought it would be a short exam since there wouldn’t be much you could do with little kids. But Dr Alvarez dilated both of them and was able to do a full exam.“

“I originally made an appointment with Lori for an eye exam. I found her to be very patient, kind and helpful. She said she was rather new and she treated me with the utmost respect as I am a senior citizen and disabled.

Jessica helped me with finding glasses and found her to also be very helpful. I wear two hearing aids and it is difficult to hear at times. No problem, Jessica helped me and she did a fine job.

My exam was with Dr. Cynthia Decker-Riddle OD
She found that my right eye had a cataract, and most likely next year I will need surgery to correct this problem. She was very patient and answered all my questions.

After picking out my new glasses, I had the opportunity to meet
Nicholas Pagenkopf, the branch manager. He was very knowledgeable and made certain that my eyeglasses and lenses were sit up properly. He also trains new employees, and it shows.

This was overall a great experience, as the people are very nice and helpful. When you are a disabled and a senior citizen some places can not wait to get you out the door. If you want to be treated with respect, this is the place for you.“

If you see any negative reviews, I would revisit since the management has changed hands and they have new staff members who are very genuine! They even have online frames that are much better than any other online optical store out there! 5 stars!!“
