I started with Dr.Hart Sr. long ago when he was downtown. Followed him when he moved to the new building. Not only was he a caring, gentle dentist who explained every step, but never pushed cosmetic stuff nor what one couldn't afford. He finally accepted a partner in Dr. Olson. Then his son who had followed in dad's footsteps.Like father , like son. Although a bit unsure yet, he is well trained and follows his father in offering solid dentistry. The office doesn't push things that make them money while a cheaper method will work also. After decades of work, Dr. Hart Sr. retired and is sorely missed. But, I am fine with his son. Same gentle manner, same carefulness, same habit of making sure you know what and why is happening. And suggestions as to future needs.Long ago, my mother went to a high priced, egotistical dentist in town. When icy roads made her a few minutes late, as well as removing her coat...she was told her appointment was canceled. She told me when I picked her up , she re-booked...I said NO. Cancel and you are going to my dentist, Dr. Hart. After her first checkup, she said she had never had a dentist like him. Every step was told as it was proceeding. And the cost was half. She had grown up when dentist did their thing and you accepted it and there was no conversation. Shut up and pay the bill.Dr. Hart Sr. made sure whomever was on staff followed the path he had set. And it still is true under the new "kids" on the block. Office staff has been with him forever so that says a lot of how good the office is.Whether a routine checkup, cleaning, or work...this is the dentist you want. No bossy power push..you are told exactly what is needed and offered and you chose with no pressure. The work is done right, cost effectively and with care. The covid had closed the office last winter. When open again, all safety precautions have been followed.

This office is state of the art. Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Dr Olson is my new dentist and he has a super attitude. He had to remove a tooth that had been previously crowned. The crown had broken off and it was the anchor for my partial bridge. I had dreaded going to a new dentist for such a major procedure. He had the gentlest touch - I never even knew I was getting the novacaine! It ended up being one of the easiest extractions I have ever had (and I had loved my previous dentist whom I had been seeing for 45 years until he retired). They took an impression of my mouth first thing in the morning so the lab could add an extra tooth to the bridge and then the extraction was done late in the day with the partial replaced right afterward. The entire procedure was handled beautifully. I would recommend this office and this dentist to anyone requiring dental care.
