I’m new to the area and took a chance on Urban Esque based on the reviews. Amy did a fabulous job on my cut and color. I’m very picky about the color (I like ashy vs yellow blonde) and she exceeded my expectations. I was a little nervous when I first sat down because she is a bit shy and didn’t talk a lot. If you’re looking for a chatty hairstylist she might not be the right fit BUT if you’re looking to sit back, relax, and end up with possibly your favorite cut and color in years, she’s your girl!! Seriously, Amy is fantastic! Trust her opinions. I did,with adding lowlights along with highlights and cutting a bit more.
I’ve never had a great experience with getting my hair colored and I’ve always been on the fence on whether or not I thought it was “worth” the tears after. I have thick, textured hair but my stylist was able to give me exactly what I wanted and more! I absolutely loved my hair and was able to walk away without any tears! It’s a beautiful place with beautiful people! I definitely suggest!
