Realizing I was out of my depth trying to redesign a kitchen incorporating outdated woodwork, I fortuitously found RH Design Build the new, old-fashioned way…internet search. RH Design Build is phenomenal. Susan has a gift. She listened to my wants and wishes and intuitively understood exactly what I was seeking. Susan created plans that took just a few adjustments and in one crazy afternoon, we had chosen all the colors and materials for the project. This is truly amazing when you consider that after a year of staring at paint color options on the wall, I was still indecisive. Once the project began, I was astonished with the speed, attention to detail and care they took in creating my kitchen. The team made it possible for limited use of the kitchen to reduce inconvenience. Everyone at RH Design Build, as well as the subcontractors with whom they work are unsurpassed. From beginning to end, Susan and Dennis made the project fun and easy (ok, easy may be overstating since there was a lot of dust) but I could not be more pleased with the beautiful kitchen. Yes, Susan found a way to incorporate outdated woodwork with beautiful updated cabinets. It has been almost 6 months since RH Design Build completed the project and I have had no issues whatsoever. I am just as pleased now as I was upon completion. Most importantly, there were no surprises. After a harrowing experience with a different contractor on a previous project, I will confess I was a little worried; however, the design, plan and construction was executed exceedingly well, and the budget was on target. I highly recommend RH Design Build. Their design and service are unsurpassed, and I will certainly reach out to them for my next project.

RH Design are amazing. We stumbled upon them by chance, after having consulted with two other area design-build firms that we did not feel comfortable proceeding with. Our project was a remodel to include a full kitchen renovation, mudroom and bathrooms, with additional updates to the lighting, flooring and closets. The second that Susan (architect) walked into our home for our initial meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Dennis, Susan and their team involved us on all aspects of the decision-making process to include scope of the project, design, functionality and budget. They offered suggestions we never would have thought of, and truly brought our ideas to life. They were completely transparent with us on all pricing aspects, which meant that we never had any issues in terms of unexpected cost or surprise. From start to finish, they were complete professionals. Before working with RH Design, we were apprehensive about the process due to horror stories we had heard from friends from their own respective renovations projects (with other companies). Our experience was the opposite, and could not have gone any better. We would highly recommend RH Design to anyone looking for a top quality design-build firm.
