Not a fan of their “tippy” tipping system. It charges you a fee, which isn’t disclosed until you finish the transaction, and starts at a recommended tip of 30%. 30%. For a 15 minute haircut. Come on.Was really hoping for a great local haircut spot in Oregon, but this is just not it.
My stepdaughter and I scheduled haircuts together, she had Ali and I had Gabrielle. My stepdaughter had been having bully issues at school and needed a confidence boost. We told Ali about the situation and not only did she do an amazing haircut, but she sat and consoled my stepdaughter for quite a while after the cut. Above and beyond what a stylist should be expected to do and she did it all on her own.My cut with Gabrielle unfortunately was not a good experience. She wanted me to cut my hair shorter than I wanted so it could be donated. I told her I wasn't comfortable with that length but she did it anyway! She barely layered it like i had hoped for too. I just moved to Oregon and was referred to see Ali I’ve had the same person, cut my hair for several years, and they are no longer in business and was very nervous about having someone new to cut my hair. I wasn’t sure how to explain it. She was very understanding and listen to what I had to say, and gave me the exact haircut that I wanted so kudos for that, and making my visit so pleasant and calm.
