I’ve been seeing Dr. Burbach for nearly three years now, and I can honestly say he’s the reason I’m still able to train consistently and push myself at the gym. I recently injured my back (again — my recurring nemesis), and the first person I called was Dr. Burbach. As always, he got me in right away and knew exactly what was going on — no guessing, no generic treatment — just targeted, sports-informed care that immediately started me on the path to recovery.

Dr. Burbach’s approach goes way beyond the adjustment. He’s extremely knowledgeable in sports chiropractic medicine, and his treatment plan is always tailored, not just to the injury but to how I train and move. What really sets him apart, though, is the emphasis on homework and accountability — stretches, icing, movement protocols — that make all the difference. If you follow that plan, you’ll get better faster. It’s that simple. If you don’t, he’ll know when you return.

What I also deeply appreciate is Dr. Burbach’s demeanor: he’s direct, honest, and deeply grounded — but there’s also an empathetic, encouraging energy in the way he delivers care. He meets you where you are, gives it to you straight, and somehow still makes you feel completely supported and understood. It’s a rare balance, and it builds an immediate sense of trust.

After five vigorous days of adjustments and homework, I’m sitting here at the end of Day 5 feeling about 99% better — which is wild considering where I started. Every time I leave his office, I feel relief, but also hopeful and smarter. I walk away having learned something new about my body, my training habits, and how to avoid future injuries. That kind of education and insight is priceless.

Also worth mentioning: the office itself is fresh, clean, and modern. The updated paint and décor give the whole space an inviting, calm vibe that makes each visit feel like part of your reset.

“I started seeing Ann Maedke when I was about 20 weeks pregnant with my first. She is absolutely amazing!!!! If you are pregnant and looking for a chiropractor I promise you that Ann is the chiropractor for you! We found her from my midwife at the time and also my mother in law suggested her. It turns out she helped my husband with his ear infections when he was 3 years old (now he’s 25 years old). So she’s been practicing for a while and her experience and knowledge definitely helps her to be the best chiropractor I’ve ever seen!My son saw her as a newborn until we moved away from Milwaukee when he was about a year and a half. Ann is always so gentle in the way she works it truly is amazing.I’m currently pregnant with my second baby and we live over an hour away and I’m in so much pain and wish I still lived in Milwaukee so I could be seen by Ann.There aren’t words I feel that could give Ann Maedke’s work as a chiropractor justice.
