“I would not have been able to keep Jax if I had not met Frank! I rescued Jax 5 months ago and he is my first dog ever so we both need a lot of training. Jax is big, and was jumping all over me, biting my arms putting holes in my coat, eating everything off the counter, marking in my house then getting me up 10-+ times per night to go outside and trying to eat our farm animals! After 3 days and many unsuccessful YouTube videos to try to help I was about to give him back but God lead me to Frank! He assessed him, said “This dog is not an aggressive dog, he is like a kindergartner outside for recess who has not spent any time in the classroom. He has has no alphabet and no words to communicate,” and asked If I could leave him there for 3 days so he could teach him and then teach me how to keep going from there. In 3 days Jax was a new dog and he has come so far and getting better ever day! I can’t believe I almost quit on him like others - I would have missed out on so much joy! Thank you with all my heart Frank and crew!!!“

“We have brought our elderly dogs to Red Wing for the last two years. The staff has always been friendly and our dogs always came home happy. You never really know what’s happening when you leave your dogs in someone else’s care, but we really found out how much they care and love on the dogs that stay there recently when one of our dogs passed away. We let them know since it changed a future reservation and they immediately expressed their sympathy. A few days later, though, we got a sympathy card signed by all the staff members. They each included a memory of our sweet dog, mentioning her quirks that they wouldn’t have known if they hadn’t spent significant time with her and really loved on her. It was so touching, and affirmed that they don’t just board pets, but that they really do love them and care about them. Our surviving dog will continue to stay at Red Wing, and we know she will be well cared for. We will always recommend them to friends, knowing how much they go above and beyond.“

“We have been using Milwaukee Paws Pet Care for 2 years now and they are great! Our dog Theo doesn't do well with the typical daycare setting and the large pack of dogs. So when we're going to be gone for a long day of work, we have Milwaukee Paws take him on a 2-hr Urban Adventure to get his steps, sniffs, and release some zoomies (sometimes out on the long leash, sometimes to pet stores or Home Depot, etc. if raining). They always email us a summary of the Adventure and some pictures from the outing (they take great pics, too!). The team loves Theo, and he is always happy to see and play with them - and enjoys his break from the house before we get home. The team is also respectful of our space and good with him in the car.“

“We were so nervous to take our tiny 4lb puppy to daycare for the first time. He’s been struggling with separation anxiety at home and we thought there was no way he would make it through a full day of daycare. Central Bark made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. I received an update during the day that he was doing great and he made it through the day with an awesome report and some great resources and photos to go along with it. They somehow got him to sleep in a crate during the day (a feat we are struggling with so much at home) and he played with other doggy friends for the first time! We can’t thank Central Bark enough for taking care of our little guy and giving us a sense of freedom back so we can go to work and not worry! We are excited to come back!“

“We had such a wonderful experience working with our trainer, Jennifer in our home and community with our dog-reactive pup. Our training was affordable and just what we had been looking for and Jennifer met us right where we were at with our dog. She set us up for success with a training plan and goals to help us when we take our dog for walks, bring her into public places and when she in general sees other dogs. Our pup has a long way to go, but it is thanks to Jennifer that we feel confident that she will get more comfortable in situations that have given us grief in the past. “Chad is wonderful. He treats each dog as an individual and then finds the appropriate means to train. Not like other classes which everyone is the same and you walk in circles. He is training my dog Bella to gain more confidence by being with other dogs and also with some agility training. We opted for private with some group training. She does have more confidence but we still have more to do. Thanks Chas!“

“I love this place! They are all so kind here the groomers and the employees! My dog is jumpy and I'm trying to work with him and they never once make me feel bad for it! They are great there and I will go there for life!! So happy with this place! I recommend the groomers they are lovely!! Also very very educated my dog has the kind of coat to where you don't get him cut and I didn't know that and they informed me of that and also helped me with his ears!!!“

“We were able to get our dog in quickly for an appointment when she had an eye infection, when our normal vet couldn't see her for days. The prices were very reasonable and everyone was so nice. I would consider making this my regular vet in the future.“

“I would proudly recommend Westown to my family and friends for their fur babies.

I adopted my dog as a puppy during the pandemic, and the previous vet we took him to didn't allow me inside for his visits (which I understand as a healthcare worker) but they repeated the same treatments to no effect for his intestinal worms.

I was referred to Westown by a family friend, and am so glad I made the visit. Dr. V gave my puppy an antibiotic instead of an antiworming medication, and started him on a probiotic, and it made all the difference. He was a completely different dog - no more accidental diarrhea in the house, no more vomiting, no more worms, and he looked so much healthier and happier.

This has been my go-to vet since. They are always so happy to see my dog, and are so gentle and sweet with him. I wouldn't go anywhere else, and get excited for his annual vet visits because I know he loves them too.“
