I’ve been with N&M for almost 5 years, I started out my first year on the dock as a forklift operator and then CDL A driver for the last 4. N&M taught me and helped me get my CDL and they have been good to me. Sure, some days are bad and I’ve wanted to quit, but there have been much better days as well. Everywhere you find struggles, but if you can just stick it out, you’ll be better off for it. Show your true American Spirit! Work hard and play hard! No matter what is said by others, N&M is a good place to work. I personally work 4 days a week on the route I have, I drive to Platteville and the Southwestern area of Wisconsin, and work 12-14 hours a day, but having the rotating day off during the week is nice to recoup and get stuff done at home and elsewhere that is needed. Put in your time and get rewarded with opportunities! I worked 3rd shift on the dock and if something happened that I couldn’t drive anymore, I’d go back to it! 80% is on the forklift, 10% off the forklift dealing with stuff like windows, loose boxes, carpet pad rolls, etc, and 10% paperwork for the unload or load you’re working on. Average trailer takes an hour to do. Again, that’s an average. Don’t let everything get to you. Let it go and move forward and take each day at a time. P.S. I make good money for a 29 year old… just saying!
I had an amazing experience with them. the company we purchased from screwed our entire order up and they saved us by driving it over to the Eastern UP. I would highly recommend with the care and concern they had for our order. we are famers and our baler broke and we needed this shaft for it to do anything and they made sure we got it. thank you so much
