Took my 2.5 yr old son here for the 1st time today. I’m a first time boy mom so I have no idea how to care for a boys hair ?. The lady we had was so nice to my son and had so much patience. Not to mention this place only takes cash or check. I only had a card. Without hesitation she says it’s fine, you can come back with cash. I appreciate a small business who trusted a complete stranger.

A nice, local barber shop. $23 for a cut, $21 on Wednesday, if you're a senior. No appointments, walk-in, first come, first served. I've always received a good, quick cut from each of the three barbers. They use clippers with a vacuum attachment, so you don't get scratchy hair down your neck and at the end they trim the hair on your neck with hot lather and a straight razor. They charge $8 for a beard trim. Lately, they have been busier, the word is getting out on this gem!

Was in town to dog sit for my son who was out of town. Was in need of haircut, many local places were closed Saturday.I decided to check out Monona Barber, and glad I did, will be back!
