Country View Vet has always taken care of our animals: cats and dog. They are a no-frills, down-to-earth, take care of the animals clinic. When our animals have been sick or needed neutering/spaying, the doctors and desk staff scheduled us within a reasonable period of time sometimes right away. Several times I have telephoned for help and have gotten advice over the phone; ex: what to do with a kitten which was gasping for air, bubbling at the mouth, and Dr. Wilson diagnosed that it had gotten something stuck in its throat and offered an easy-to-administer home remedy which saved the kitten. No charge. They're no-nonsense, practical, know their business, easy to work with. Our 4-H kids got yearly notification reminders to have their pets wormed, annual shots, check-ups. We still get those for the animals in-house! I recommend them highly.

I had a wonderful experience with this clinic. I do not live in the area ( 2.5 hours away) ...but had a need to be informed regarding an issue. Dr Greg Wilson took the time to return my call and spent over 30 min giving me information. He was never going to profit from our phone call , yet he took a large part of his day to advise me. I would highly recommend him and would definitely have him as our veterinarian if I lived close. Thank you Dr Wilson for your time and words of wisdom.

My cat had a urinary blockage that was surely gonna be fatal if he wasn't seen by a vet in a few days. Called Dodgeville vet, the lady on the phone acted like she didn't care at all and rushed me off of the line after telling me they couldn't take more appointments for another week. No luck elsewhere either. So I called Country View Vet, and after I told them my cat's situation, Doctor Wilson and the nice lady at the desk made room for an emergency appointment for my cat that very day, even though they were already booked.
