Date of visit: September 20, 2023 Work advertised a blood drive at a neighboring building and I was intrigued after so many years of being unable to donate blood, so I signed up right away a couple weeks in advance. On the day, I walked over to the Mayfair Woods building and got a little turned around, trying to find the location of the temporary clinic. My appointment was for 1:15 and I arrived at 1:19. I donate blood on the requisite schedule, almost every 8 weeks on the nose. This is the first center that has made it a joy to donate. The staff know me, which is awesome, since my donating vein is in a weird place and only ONCE did someone fish for it (which is why I stopped donating most of my 20s). Its now in my file to listen to me when I tell them where the vein is and that they should pressure cuff me. The have awesome snacks, lovely staff and often have giveaways, which are only a bonus. I've attached a photo of the day we fished for my vein to show that, even though it was rough, the staff managed to help me smile through and help others with my blood donation.

I really like this place for continental breakfast. They always have excellent coffee, a nice selection of rolls and muffins, a copy of today's newspaper and the only charge is some of my blood. They seem to like my O positive. The only drawback is you can only get this free coffee once every 8 weeks.
