Today, while waiting for a new refrigerator, I decided to shut off the water to the ice maker. I couldn't find a standard shut off valve, so I took a picture of the line and showed it to Jeff. He said it was a needle valve and explained how it worked and how to cap it off, there was no charge for the consultation and I was able to disconnect the line with a 50 cent part.
