I was seen for an eye issue that requires surgery. I was told by the physician/surgeon that a scheduler would call me back with the surgery schedule availability with it 1-2 days. After not hearing back after two days, I called the BayCare Clinic and was told the "scheduler" would call within "1-2 WEEKS" to tell me what the next available surgery schedule was! The receptionist said the schedulers are all backed up....calls are made in order. The physicians are not aware of this issue. If perhaps, these "schedulers" were no longer working from home but back in the office where they should be, they would be a lot more efficient in doing the scheduling and calling patients back in a timely manner. Very disappointed in the staff of the schedulers and their inefficiency in getting back to patients.

My appt. was for my yearly contact lenses exam with Dr. King. Everyone at the clinic from Dr. king, to the tech and the receptionist were extremely pleasant and explained every bit of the process in great detail. It was a very enjoyable experience and I will not hesitate to go back. I highly recommend them.
