WisCARES is a veterinary and social service clinic. We offer free and subsidized veterinary care and social services for people experiencing homelessness or low-income. Appointments: We see clients by appointment on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Surgeries are scheduled on Thursday. Appointments are scheduled no more than 2 days in advance. Your Visit: Please plan on roughly 2 hours for your pet's visit. WisCARES is a teaching facility, and services are provided by veterinary students who are are supervised by licensed veterinarians. As such, our appointments take a bit longer than those at traditional clinics. COVID Precautions: Clients do not enter the building due to COVID.
