Absolutely pathetic!!!! My mother-in-law came severely dehydrated. Her IV came out and, Alyssa, the nurse behind the front desk, REFUSED to help her get another IV. Meanwhile, my mother-in-law is sitting in severe pain with labored breathing and extremely dehydrated and Alyssa is eating pizza at the front desk. We've been here for almost 4 hours without even seeing a doctor. Finally, mother-in-law couldn't take it anymore and we had to leave. If she dies tonight, I'm blaming Alyssa. Also, that same nurse kicked us out of the smaller room we were waiting in. I am severely immunocompromised and can't be around a ton of people, especially sick people. This is the worst service I have ever received at this hospital and will be calling Customer Relations in the morning.
Emergency room. Unless it's an absolute emergency and an ambulance brings you in I would avoid this ER. I was not a serious case and they showed me that over and over. It was decently busy but I given a hall bed after waiting 5 hours, got there at 3 pm on a Wednesday. I could hear the nurses all chatting just over the short wall from my bed and definitely heard things about other cases I should not have. My nurse would say ok back shortly and then wander and talk and then even went to lunch! One point had me do a urine sample and then realized i had given blood and didn't need it so it sat where I had been told to put it till he got back. Still there when I left. If you aren't a big case the nurses don't care, also heard them talking about how long each had worked there, one was day 2. Very young staff.
absolute garbage, you're just money to them, you're not even human. I hope they all experience real pain and get no relief Like I had to. Everyone but the pt lady, only one who understood what I was dealing with, i believe.
