Have you ever felt that you're not wanted a certain place? That is how I now feel about Northport Clinic (formerly Northeast Clinic). We have been long time patients and have appreciated the professional service provided. I don't know what's changed, but the service has gone down the tubes, but that doesn't apply to all the staff. There are three staff with whom I have an issue, two nurses and one customer service manager. I have had negative interactions with Bethann, RN. On two separate occasions, this nurse has been rude and unprofessional in the manner in which she interacted with both me and my husband. The most recent time was when both my husband and I both had covid. This was our first time (hopefully last) contracting covid. We were given incorrect information on getting medication, she was impatient with my husband. She asked him what was going on with his health and before he could get four words out of his mouth, she was interrupting him in what he described as high-handed manner. She asked me what number I wanted to use as a call back-number and I gave her my cell. We didn't hear back until the next day.Since we were both sick, I didn't want to use the landline (that might give you an idea of our age). Instead of them using the cell # they called the landline which is downstairs in the front room. She then ignored the fact that they called the wrong # and went on to chide me because she stayed late because we didn't answer our LANDLINE. Yeah, I want no interactions with BethAnne from here on out.More recently I wrote my doctor, Dr. Hampton (wonderful) via the mychart messaging regarding chest pains I've been having for quite some time. I received a call from the triage nurse explaining that my matter might require more immediate attention than the appointment 3 weeks away. I told him I didn't feel it was urgent as I've had the discomfort for months. He said he'd check and get back to me. A bit later I had another question and since the triage nurse and I hadn't connected (phone tag) I called the clinic. I spoke with Tammy (wonderful) the receptionist who transferred me back to triage. Josh answered thinking it was Tammy and made a disparaging remark about having to deal with. He did apologize when he realized his mistake, but . . .And finally, I come to the last person, Laura, who is the person I was told to contact with my concerns. I left a voicemail and, maybe 2 - 3 later, I still have not heard from Laura. I love Dr. Adrienne Hampton, and she is the main reason I am continuing to patronize this clinic. I feel very unwanted at this clinic. I don't know why it says I'm in San Francisco, if only!
