Two days before my wedding I realized I did not trust myself to make my beard look right. I decided to try out Regent Cuts and am so happy I did. I walked in and vaguely told the barber that I wanted the beard a similar length but to be cleaned up, and he delivered (without a ton of help from me!). Usually barbers who line my beard up go a bit too low and it borders on a chinstrap look but he did an amazing job of not taking too much off but lining it up nicely. He also did the no-guard buzz of my hair perfectly. I only wish I remembered my barber's name so I could give him a shoutout on here, but I very highly recommend this shop.

I've been going to Mushu for haircuts for nearly two years now, and I've tried out a bunch of different styles—from side parts to long slickbacks and even a man bun. Every time, it's turned out great and left me feeling satisfied. Despite the language barrier, he always seemed to understand exactly what I wanted and made the whole experience comfortable.

Recently, he mentioned some family difficulties, and I felt really sorry for him. I wanted to say something comforting, but I wasn't sure how to navigate the language barrier gracefully. I ended up not bringing it up, worried it might come across as rude. But I truly hope he and his family recover well.

Regent Cuts Barbershop is one of the better barbershops in the greater Madison area. Mushu has been my go to, but Daniel is also solid! They are a little on the pricey side, but the quality is 2nd to none. It's an easy going atmosphere with a great music vibe when you walk in!
