I love everything about this hand pan! From the color to the craftmanship, you can tell a lot of love and care was put into making this pan. The sound is beautiful and resonates with me on a deep, spiritual level. It's really easy to play notes on it, too. I have tried using other steel hand pans in the past, and it was really hard for me to get a single note out of it. But with this pan, you can produce notes effortlessly and easily! The customer service is excellent, but more importantly, the instrument we received is beautiful. The sound is so much more melodious than we imagined. We purchased the G major pan in 432 hz. My son and I both use it. My son has experience with percussion instruments and in a short time, he is playing it in ways that lend to relaxation and meditation. It will take me more time to learn, as I have no musical abilities, but there are supports at the Isthmus website and with the book. It was well worth the money!

My experience with Isthmus was nothing short of amazing. I visited their workshop try out some scales and see their workshop. Robert had a few scales set up for me to try. Being a beginner player, I wasn't sure which scale was right, but sure enough there was a handpan that just clicked and I ended up leaving with it. Their instruments sound BEAUTIFUL, and customer service is great. I highly highly recommend them!
