McMahon's Funeral Home, Especially Kathy, made the passing of my grandpa go extremely smoothly. From not having anything planned ahead, to being clueless to what it all included doing and all the paperwork and everything that needs to happen in such a short period of time, Kathy was there and explained everything so thoroughly that the process was almost effortless. Along with being so knowledgeable, she was the most caring as well. Always greeting you with hugs and checking in on how you were doing, giving hugs and always reassuring you she was there for whatever you needed before leaving. In such a devastating time for our family Kathy made us feel comforted on top of doing a wonderful job making grandpa look handsome and at peace, the funeral was absolutely beautiful, and without her none of this would have been possible. There isn't a person in this world who I would have trusted with grandpa more than her and I'll forever be grateful for the time and care she put into everything.
Chad Smith (Smith Bros.) has done a lot of work in our home during our remodeling process. He moved all of the water and sewer lines during a master bath remodel, from the top down because the basement below was finished. He did an amazing job. Chad has plumbed our pool pump, replaced sink plumbing, you name it, he can do it. Appreciate the fast service in order to make everything less stressful on the customer.
Wulf Brothers installed the HVAC in our Door County home when it was built in 2007. We have relied on Wulf for routine maintenance and service ever since. We have always been very satisfied with their work and the people who perform it, but a recent experience revealed just how good their service team is. On a recent Friday afternoon our furnace and humidifier were receiving routine annual maintenance. Inadvertently, the controller board for the furnace was damaged making the furnace inoperable. In order to get it back up and running, the service technician worked together to find a replacement board, drive about 90 miles round trip to obtain it, and install it by 9:30 that evening. That is exceptional service! I should also note that before the replacement board was found, the technician also found a way to bypass the problem and get the furnace running on a temporary basis, but once the replacement board was found both he and his manager decided to get it and do the permanent fix right away so that my wife and I could enjoy our weekend with total peace of mind. Impressive!
