My wife and I have been going to The Schoolhouse Salon for almost three years now, and it's always a positive and enjoyable experience. The salon itself is a charming old one-room schoolhouse that's been transformed into a comfortable space with three stylists.
My stylist, Megan Hineline, is fantastic at helping you choose the perfect haircut or style, even if you're undecided. She's friendly and professional, just like all the stylists at the salon. They all create a great atmosphere that makes you feel welcome and relaxed.

“Just got my hair braided by Lisa and I will recommend you go to her if you want your hair braided. She was very gentle on my head. She was very smooth with it. If you are the tender head, you will not feel a thing with Lisa. I did not need to flinch or anything while she was braiding my hair. She made me feel comfortable being in her chair. She is very kind and nice and funny, making you feel very welcome in her shop. ??“

For me, I’ve had 2 scheduled appointments canceled due to language barrier or miscommunication. My fiancé would schedule it, (usually kids are playing on the phone so you have to call a few times) then when I call to verify if my hair needs to be washed, my appointment is magically gone. I want to love her services but the language barrier and miscommunication is really frustrating. Personally I won’t ever go to her, however, if it’s just a haircut, you’ll have no issues.“
