So glad to have come across Jessiffany and have my pups boarded + trained by them. I get lots of compliments on how well-mannered they are. The main reason I decided to come here was because my German Shepherd was reactive towards other dogs since he was 4 months old. All the different methods I was trying weren't working and I didn't know the reason behind his reactive-ness because he never had a bad experience with another dog. Well long story short he barks out of excitement and it turned out he doesn't have a mean bone in his body, and this was discovered at Jessiffany which I'm grateful for. Because of Jessiffany I can take him out in public and I have the tools so there's enjoyment for all parties involved, even when passing by other dogs. I also got my Labrador trained here because I wanted both dogs to be e-collar trained (and general obedience) and we frequently enjoy off leash exercises. Our trainer was named Greg! And another bonus is they offer a military discount :)
Great place to train, as a first time K9 handler you’re going to run into issues on the road with your dog, whether it is a situation you or or dog have never been in before or something where your dog just does something completely different than what you expected it to do. Luckily if you come to Jessifany, you have access to Jessie’s knowledge almost 24/7. Jessie is always there to answer your questions, if you are in his class or have already graduated and genuinely cares about the handlers and dogs being safe and successful on the road. Within the first month of being on the road with my dog I had a situation at 3 in the morning that didn’t go as I planned. After the call was over all you can do is second guess yourself and try to figure out what you need to do to fix the problem. I texted Jessie thinking I wouldn’t get a answer until later that day of what I need to do to fix the problem. Nope, I had an answer with in 20 minutes even tho it was 2 In the morning his time. The Jessifany family just truly cares about the people they train and the dogs they put on the road. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.
I completed the Law Enforcement training at Jessiffany in February of 2022 which included drug identification, apprehension, and tracking. As a new K9 Officer it was refreshing to know I could ask Jessie any questions that I had and he would take the time to explain further or answer my question with detailed responses. Jessie has the drive and passion to make sure every dog that he trains will be successful whether it's additional reps for the K9 and handler, or identifying different training techniques. Tiffany and Ashley were great to work with to go over obedience to have your K9 listening to you. All three employees have a great positive attitude that made training fun. The final thing I like with Jessiffany is the communication. Jessie will respond to your emails and text messages in a timely manner answering any of your questions which I feel is huge for the handler to have a resource to be able to ask questions to and get great advice on any problems they may have encountered with their K9.
