“I am very happy with this salon. I recently moved to the village and stopped in one day just to see if they cut men's hair. Rose, who was currently working on a customer's hair responded that they do and handed me her business card to call and make an appointment with. She was the only stylist in the salon at the time. Once I came in for the appointment, she took time to find out what I wanted, was very professional throughout the entire visit, and did a great job on my hair. The price was excellent too, especially considering I received a wash, trim, styling and blow dry. I have no interest in going elsewhere for a cut.“

“Five-stars for the ease of location, overall vibe of the salon, and my stylist Vanessa! I have a lot of hair, like thick as it gets and really quite long. After a few poor experiences with bad hair cuts in my life, I've become pretty picky about who I'll go to now. Recently, I was in a bind not being able to get into my regular salon, so I took my mom's advice and came to Salon Amroze. I will now count this is as my new go-to place! It's small but very elegant and modern. Love the overall feel. Plus parking is a piece of cake, despite being located in the Third Ward. Vanessa did a stellar job on my hair. I was after a 'generous trim' if you will, and she cleaned me up real nicely. I loved how accommodating she was to my thoughts about length, layers, and style. Plus, she's just uber-friendly and who doesn't want that in their hair stylist. I believe Vanessa will be out briefly on maternity leave soon, but fear-not, she'll be back! And as will I.“

It turned out so nice and love how it looks! He did my foils totally different than I have seen before and I was very impressed! My haircut came out exactly like I wanted also which is rare. “WOW! That was my happy reaction after Julia worked her absolute magic on my hair. I have been bouncing around to and from salons my whole life and now have found my home- Julia’s Hair Lounge! I just had a baby 3 months ago and had outgrowth of roots from a blinding from about a year and a half ago. I went to another salon for a blonde balayage and they truly ruined my hair but that was no match for Julia. She transformed my worst nightmare into a day dream. Julia is incredibly thoughtful, thorough, and Knowledgeable. She made sure to ask me questions about previous service, what I wanted, and what I was COMFORTABLE with (that was huge for me). Even after applying the first set of product, she did a second round to ensure satisfactory results. Her eye for hair and my wants was unlike any other stylist I have had. I cannot wait to go back.“
