Having been with an independent lab, that regrettably is no longer independent, for 3 decades, I was reluctant to change labs. I leaned into Cherry Optical Long Island rep, Joann Capossela (who is a NYS optician) and said try Cherry ‘they are everything that you rely on and expect from a lab’. I will admit my expectations are high and here’s what I found at Cherry: premium products, at a fair and competitive price, UNLIMITED REDO’s in certain situations, customer service that can actually answer optics, base curve and even prism questions in a tone that is friendly, patient and not indifferent to your concerns.
