My experience was rough going to school here, but there's pros and cons at every school/beauty school out there. But the bullying, racism, vaping in performance area, not enough supplies for everyone, very messy and teachers sometimes are rude-pick favorites or even talk about their private sexual life to students and than the Boards are not up to date or fixing broken or frayed things. I graduated in July so things might have changed but my friend still goes here and hope she has better experiences. I do enjoy Taylor the admissions director and there's good qualities to all instructors.

Made an appointment to get my haircut here on a Friday morning. I know this is a beauty school, and my haircut would be done by a student, but I also knew that the instructor would be right there. J arrived and was met by Elle. She was friendly and engaging. She started with a wash, then when I explained what I would like to have done, she called her instructor over who gave her some advice and encouragement and away she went. She explained she goes slow, but I didn't mind at all because I understood she was learning and being attentive. When she had a question about something or needed some advice, she would call over her instructor. In the end, my hair looks just like I asked, shorter with layers and thinned out. I am glad I came and I will be back for another haircut and other services.

I came to Academy of Beauty Professionals yesterday for an Anti-Aging Facial. Mel Lawniczak was my technician. She was amazing. She walked me through each step and explained what she was doing. She frequently checked to make sure I was comfortable with the heat levels. She was very kind and extremely conscientious. I would definitely recommend her. I will be back soon for more pampering. Great job Mel!
