“We have brought our elderly dogs to Red Wing for the last two years. The staff has always been friendly and our dogs always came home happy. You never really know what’s happening when you leave your dogs in someone else’s care, but we really found out how much they care and love on the dogs that stay there recently when one of our dogs passed away. We let them know since it changed a future reservation and they immediately expressed their sympathy. A few days later, though, we got a sympathy card signed by all the staff members. They each included a memory of our sweet dog, mentioning her quirks that they wouldn’t have known if they hadn’t spent significant time with her and really loved on her. It was so touching, and affirmed that they don’t just board pets, but that they really do love them and care about them. Our surviving dog will continue to stay at Red Wing, and we know she will be well cared for. We will always recommend them to friends, knowing how much they go above and beyond.“

“I was nervous starting training but knew my dog needed a little more obedience training and after the first training session I felt relieved knowing I found the perfect place to help me and Benson out with his training. “Our family dog recently received treatment from Dr. Selin. Ultimately, we had to make the decision to euthanize our dog after exhausting all good options. Dr. Selin and the tech were kind, and compassionate. They made our Sammy comfortable with treats, a toy, and a blanket, as a medicine relaxed him before euthanasia. It was such a hard day, and they did what they could to make it easier.“

“These groomers helped my friend when she adopted badly matted pooch. They took this emergency case when nobody else would help her.
