Out of frustration, I called Southport. They sent a plumber to my home in less than an hour. The young man quickly diagnosed my problem, and the needed repair was performed quickly. Honestly, I was not thrilled with the product he installed, as the same brand failed and caused my problem. However, from a customer service standpoint, Southport did an excellent job! Very impressed with their service. I would definitely use them again, and I would highly recommend this company!“

It happened due to a previous renovation. I appreciated that. Couteous and professional. Explained things clearly. Would be happy to have him back.“

1529 S 113th St, West Allis“Needed at least a cleanout of a 50 year old cast iron sewer lateral. Rozga did a nice inspection job with a camera snake all the way out to the road, and it was easy to see the significant deterioration causing us problems. We opted to have the basement portion replaced first. It was about a month after I had major heart surgery and the Rozga guys were very helpful covering and protecting expensive tech equipment in my basement workshop from the cement dust that would result from ripping up the floor to get at the lateral. Unfortunately, as part of the plastic curtaining, they were using a staple gun to attach the sheeting to a joist in a hard to reach area, near the central networking hub where there's a ton of wires, and the ceiling and the wires are all painted black. Maybe 20 minutes in, I started hearing a fateful beeping from all our alarm system zone modules that indicated comms failure. I told them I suspected they had done SOMETHING to the alarm bus. Supervisor tells me they were being very careful (which I fully believe) but I show him the dead alarm keypad and tell him "well it was working before you got here." He comes back maybe 20 minutes later with this look of trepidation on his face that I recognize as vendor fear. He sheepishly tells me I'm right and that they drove a staple thru a wire. Having worked with tradespeople for many years, I understood that his fear was that I was going to call some private alarm company, have them come out to do a potentially expensive debug and repair to the system, and ask Rozga to pay to repair the damage. Stuff like that happens all the time. I asked him to show me what happened. It's in a place where the sheeting had to corner and I could barely make out was going on, especially since the black paint makes it almost impossible to distinguish what the heck is going on behind the translucent plastic. Quite frankly I was impressed he found it given how hard it was to see, and I told him so. Then I told him it was not a problem, I had that kind of wire in stock. I then reminded him he had stapled something I do in my line of work and that I could fix low voltage wiring. Knowing where the fault was, it meant I could have my 15yo son do the work under my direction a few days later. No harm, no foul, and no cost. The look of relief was instant. I have occasionally seen people in the trades make mistakes and then dig in their heels, refusing to admit a mistake. Rarely do I see tradespeople actively work to find a mistake that is outside their wheelhouse. I am happy to do business with Rozga again in the future when it comes time to replace the rest of the lateral. Good people, neat work, very pleased with the end result.“

John (the owner) did NOT try and talk us into "emergency" services. That would've added to our costs. Pricing seemed fair enough though. Funny since 10 yrs ago, a new one costs nearly 50 % more!“

I tried calling several companies, but 24/7 Sewer was the only one willing to come out to help . They were completely transparent about the pricing over the phone. Jayson got to our Condo and thoroughly cleared the drain. Even after clearing the first clog, he checked it a few more times to make sure it was completely clear. Will definitely CALL them again in the future.“
“Had an issue with a clogged floor drain that backed up the whole house. I called Rooter Man and Darrell came over immediately. He was super professional, looked through the issue, and gave us an estimate before doing the work. He was able to address the issue and was super nice on providing suggestions on how to prevent future build up. When you have an emergency, Rooter Man really came to the rescue. Definitely a recommendation for others who need service to drains!Service: Drain cleaning“
“I'm hiring Steve to do my city water hookup and I already love this man. Work is not scheduled to start yet, but when we were talking I was telling him about an issue I had with my garage door. He offered to come in and see what the issue was, correctly diagnosed the issue, AND helped me get my car out so I could use it, not to mention moving my trash and recycle cans out, as well! A+ individual. Hire him if you can. He also came highly recommended from my neighbors. I can see why!“

7AM - 4PM
11800 W Greenfield Ave, West Allis“Where do I even begin.... We live in Whitefish Bay, our home was built in 1939; over the last few years our drainage backup problems have gotten worse and worse. Milwaukee Pluming & Piping came out this time as the previous company meant well but was coming out twice a year with no improved results.
Here came the bad news- once the camera was down there we were advised by Bryant (awesome) that the integrity of our drain pipe approximately 20 feet away from our home was SHOT. Like broken, other debris, murky water he couldn't see through. I received a detailed explanation of the problem from Bryant and then shortly received a call from Joe Holtz- the Project Manager. I think Joe would also admit we got really lucky to have an awesome excavator available the very next day. Who actually came to my home (Danny) the night before just to introduce himself, look at the layout of the job, and try to put me, the customer, at ease... Apologies if I am writing a novel about this experience however it warrants it.
THE VERY NEXT DAY at 7AM sharp we had Danny who I already met the night before with his excavator at our home (not MKE, but I will save his review for after this one) his 2 full size dump trucks to carry away most of our old walkway which was due for replacement anyway along with Chris from MKE Plumbing and and the job got started. First was digging the eight foot trench and inspecting our pipes. Disaster.. The integrity of our drain pipes were so bad (who knows..it was 1939. They were clay for all I know) that I was advised the most practical and sensible (two very important words) would be to replace the entire drain pipe.
ALSO, while we happen to have an open 8 foot trench along our front yard what else is exposed? Indeed, God awful LEAD pipes. Of course I would replace poisonous LEAD pipes with brad new PolyPEX.
Our water was shut off for 1 approximately 1 full day and then turned back on the next day around noon. TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND REMEMBER
1. DIAGNOSIS WAS MONDAY
2. WORK BEGAN AT 7AM ON TUESDAY UNTIL 8PM
3. NEW DRAIN PIPE INSTALLED, CLEAN NONLEADED WATER HOSE INSTALLED PROPERLY BY NOON ON WEDNESDAY.
4. I PRICED THE JOB WITH A FEW OTHER LOCAL COMPANIES AND NO ONE OFFERED THE SAME LEVEL OF SERVICE, CARE, AND HONESTY.
My family and I would be living in a hotel right now as no one could begin the job as quickly and efficiently as Milwaukee Plumbing & Piping. I know larger companies have Project Managers- but these guys were local, they knew their business, and were extremely fair.
In my opinion cost is an issue in the absence of value- we paid an unbelievably fair price for the work that was done in such a short period of time.
Joe Holtz is the Project Manager- Super kind and respectful fellow. He was honest and up front about everything. Everything we discussed felt as if he would be making the same recommendations to his own family. By the way- he had WE Energies there the same day as diagnosis for line inspection, and Village inspector was there at 7am start day as well. You can have a great team in place but if they are not properly managed with the professionalism and thoughtfulness that Joe demonstrated I doubt this would have been pulled off as efficiently as it was.
I purposely asked Joe for all the names of the workers who were part of this job. I am so very grateful to each an every one of them as I know this is not easy work.
1. Thank you to Joe Holtz
2. Thank you Danny (Excavator)
3. Thank you tall Brandon
4. Thank you old Brandon
5. Thank you Mustache Marcus
6. Thank you to Chris
7. Thank you Xavier the apprentice
8. Thank you Bryant who initially came out and was my first point
of contact with getting me dialed into Joe Holtz
