My husband has had his partial upper denture for less than a year. When the first toothfell out in March or April, we were told that it would cost us more money to get it fixed. This doesn't seem fair at all. Now another tooth has fallen out. From the icy response we received the first time, we don't expect to get better news this time either. Calling tomorrow when they reopen, but ready to call BBB.
Zero star rating for this dentist. Waited four months for an appointment and they canceled on me, wanting to wait another three months for just a cleaning. Read the reviews and stay clear of this office.
I needed to have a tooth extracted. I drove 35 minutes to get to this place and had been told on the phone when I made the appointment by a woman named Doreen, that she would book enough time, so that if the dentist was going to take the tooth out the same day there would be plenty of time to do that. Well surprise, surprise - she only booked it for about a 10 minute appointment. So I have to go back home and then come back again next week to have the tooth extracted. And gas is at $3.29 a gallon. Also, when I first got all checked in the woman at the desk wanted me to pay for the consult fee of $125 upfront before the appointment. I said that I would pay for it after the appointment. And I fully intended to do that. However, in checking, my insurance covers the consult fee so she would've ended up with money from my pocket that she shouldn't have gotten. These people should've checked into the insurance immediately rather than trying to nail me for $125. They also told me that it would cost me something like $149 or something like that as my portion of the tooth extraction and I said extractions are covered 100%. One of their management people double checked, and evidently the information had been entered into their system wrong, so they had to re-enter it in order to find out that yes, indeed, I pay nothing out of pocket. Clearly, I'm not happy at this point despite the fact that the people seemed friendly enough. But I'm the one who's out the gas money I'm the one who's out more time because I have to come back a second time, and my time is valuable too, but they don't seem to care about that. I had a minimum they should be reimbursing me for my gas for a second trip down there. But all they're going to do is talk to Doreen about her mistake. Thanks a lot! I'll sleep better tonight, knowing that I'm the only one inconvenienced and having to spend additional money.
