The most unprofessional dentist with whom I’ve ever interacted. Became hostile, intimidating, and argumentative when I questioned his treatment plan which was inconsistent from one visit to the next.
I feel like I must warn people of Dr. Ronald Moon. He voluntarily surrendered his license in Texas and it was for very serious infractions. You can also google his name and find reviews of him apparently ripping people off in Texas and Arizona In Texas, there are 16 complaints in one filing you can view online. The number is SOAH Docket 504-17-4140. In addition, there are aggregating factors that include: Harm to one of more patients, the severity of patient harm, one or more violations that involve more than one patient, economic harm, increased potential for harm, intentional, premeditated, knowing or grossly negligent acts. You can google Texas Dental Board and click on LICENSING and look up his name. From there you can click on the PDF and see the full complaint. The actual infractions start on page 10. In Arizona, there is a complaint #260221 that you have to call in to learn about. How he is practicing in Wisconsin is beyond me, but I will definitely be reporting this to the State of Wisconsin as he probably applied for his license here before he surrendered it in Texas. To my understanding doctor's who are about to lose their license can skip town and apply for a license in a different state before they lose their license in the state they were practicing in. I also thought it would be helpful to do some digging and find out who owns this office after my experience with Dr. Moon and what appeared to be a very inexperienced dental assistant that made me feel like something was SERIOUSLY OFF. What I found was the office is ran by Heartland Dental. You can find out who runs a website by reading their Privacy Policy on the website (in the footer) where a business has to list the address of who operates the business. They didn't list the name directly, but they had an address and I did a reverse address search and Heartland Dental came up. I then checked their job postings and found they own MANY practices around Madison. It looks like they buy up practices and take over. Reviews for Heartland Dental on Glass Door speak volumes about how they operate as well. Moreover, all the websites look the same with different colors so it will be obvious it's them if you ever run across a website like this one. Just be aware. I'm not saying everyone who works for them are bad, but how the operate their practices do not seem to be patient centered at all. That's why they call it "practicing medicine" and not all doctors are created equal. My experience was cold, staff appear to be inexperienced, and they try to make you get treatments, possibly ones you may not need with how hard they push them.
Not sure how this man is still doing dentistry. He owes people in Houston, Texas money. Look him up on the Texas State dental board for wrong doing with dental work to his patients. I use to work for him and he never paid me and several others.
