I went to see Dr. Augustine and I thought he was great. No beating around the bush, very upfront and honest. He genuinely cared about my health goals and told me exactly what needed to be done. Went to Dr Augustine today and it was horrible! I have never in my life been treated so badly by a Dr. He told me I was slurring my speech and asked me if I had been drinking!! He was unbelievably rude and condescending. I would not recommend seeing him to my worst enemy. Thankfully my daughter (Army Nurse) was with me to experience his behavior. She also was shocked with how he treated me.
Dr. Augustine was very rude, harsh, and critical on my very first visit with him while I told him my background and my needs. He was demeaning, judgemental, and had horrible bedside manner to someone who just answered that they feel suicidal on the mental health questionnaire because they've been in chronic pain for 10+ years, and don't feel like other doctors are listening. "I won't help you until you help yourself" was the answer I got. I would not recommend him. His medical aid, Erik, was very kind, though.
