Had the old man owner of GK, Greg, come to my house and had a list of things for him that me and wife had planned. 1 - Clean up the yard. Remove the leaves in the yard, around the house and along the fence, clean up the tree brushes and dog poops and make it look nice. Greg: Did you want us to power rake? Cuz it'll cost alot more if you want it but it'll look alot better. Me: No, I can mow and rake most of the yard. We have a riding lawnmower, just make it look nice. Wife already spoke with Greg on phone earlier about the dog p*** and said we could get someone else to clean it up but Greg insisted he could do it. 2 - We need new mulch in front of the house and plot some new flowers in front where the dirt is. That's it. Greg: She will have to tell me what kind of flowers she wants planted. Me: OK, let us know when you guys come so we can decide which flowers. He gave us a quote of $425 for it all. We approved it, he came the next day with 3 guys and was only here an hour. We found a dozen spots of dog p**** leaves still all around the yard and house and no flowers planted. No text. Wife texted if he was coming back for the flowers and no response. She sent him pictures of leaves and dog p*** and he replied "why are you sending me pictures of random leaves around your house?" He came back the next day for 15 minutes and picked up 3 piles of leaves and left again. No text prior to arrival or when he left. We were not happy with the service and told Greg to forget about the flowers and the rest of the work needed to be done and to send us the bill. He sent a bill for $425 + tax. We asked why $425 when he didn't even do flowers and he said "the flowers wee not include in original price estimate, it's extra... You need to speak to your husband about the things that you said we needed to do, there seems to be some miscommunication between what you two of what you wanted us to do!" Wow. Nice response Greg. It's too bad, we had them for a few years but their service performance have gone downhill alot lately. We have always paid our bill on time and even paid ahead alot of times. But last winter, we got a ticket for not shoveling because we were out of town and GK was supposed to do it. Look elsewhere for Lawncare. Rude and entitled with poor service.
