Mike’s Custom Contracting company was recommended to us by a neighbor when we asked our Facebook group for ideas on someone who could replace our aging deck. We discussed our ideas for a replacement with Mike, and explained how we wanted to use the new deck. Mike developed the design, giving us options for materials taking in to consideration the location, our expected use, the Wisconsin weather and our rather advanced age. His design incorporates a conservative “engineered to last” concept that provided a nice look with durability and strength. He and his crew were a joy to work with. They were all pleasant men and skilled in their work, and we never heard a discouraging word from any of them! Having built 3 of our past homes, I appreciated their attention to detail in every aspect of the process, from insuring everything was plumb and square, to cleaning up the work area when they finished for the day. Now that the project is complete, I can say that I am happy to be able to recommend them for any project that you might have.
