I was ready to beg ANYONE to take the rescue dog I ended up with (which I never wanted in the first place). To be fair, the dog had been locked in a room without any socialization or training for the first 7.5 months of her life. So I couldn't be mad at her for the chaos/destruction she brought to our home.
But, I asked our vet regarding euthanasia which, as a dog lover, was heart-wrenching, but I was DESPERATE for the CRAZY to end. ?

Jana was wonderful with my highly anxious puppy! She explained and then showed me what to do. Then watched me do the action, providing pointers on how to do it. As a result, my puppy has turned into a less frightened adult, and attends dog daycare three days a week. He will even jump into the car on his own!

Our Chesapeakes first kennel experience and he seemed too love it here. So much room outdoors for the dogs during the day, we could tell he was so active when we picked him up after 3 days. He’s going back this June and hopefully it will be a yearly retreat for him when we are up north.
